I use white toothpaste (not gel) and a damp tooth brush on jewelry I sell on Ebay. works on gold, silver, copper, brass, ceramics, and sneakers.

I worked for a jewler for many years and all we used was straight ammonia and a toothbrush for gold. Jewelry comes out sparkling clean. Have been doing this for 40 years. Always get asked why my things look brand new. Hope yours will too.

Hi Chrissy, anything that is gold and most all gem stones will clean well with the ammonia. Be careful and don't use the solution on any pearls, opals, sterling silver, or costume jewelry, as this will ruin them. Rinse in warm water, dry and wear.

Soak in a container with one denture tablet.
