Z on Nov 04, 2015Have you tried a single edged razor scraper? That's how I removed the stain from our doors when hubby stained them.Helpful Reply

Marion Nesbitt on Nov 05, 2015Am a user of the razor scrapers. If it is sticky, Just carefully wipe the blade on a cloth wetted with paint thinner (or replace the blade). Probably Goo Gone would remove any residue.Helpful Reply

Linda B on Nov 05, 2015Nail polish remover (acetone) is amazing. It removed spray paint from my washing machine in a snap. A razor scraper, as everyone suggests, also works, and depending on the formulation of the product, Goo Gone will likely work, too, so you have lots of options. (I just had a huge painting project done involving almost every surface inside my home, so I've had a lot of experience recently cleaning spatters.)Helpful Reply

Jan Munroe on Nov 05, 2015The insulation is the dead air space between the sheets of glass, treat as you would any glass. I would use windex with ammonia and a razor blade or scraper. It will even get dried latex off of paint when used with a cloth.Helpful Reply

Pat Lindau on Nov 05, 2015Thank you for the response Jan but the windex was the first thing I tried when I first doscovered the splatter. The stain is an oil based sticky stain and smears more than anything making things worse, but I think the mineral spirits or ascetone may be the answer.Helpful Reply
