My 'go to' source would be the internet or a professional! Compare and check for pro's and con's on each answer and don't guess..... marble is too beautiful and expensive to have to replace once it's been ruined.

get a stone polisher. This happened in my bathroom in my previous house. The marble was shiny when installed, but a housekeeper scrubbed it. NOTHING will work. The original shine was from polishing of the marble itself. You need to get someone who knows how to do that.

We will bring back the shine of your marble saddle performing some noticeable restorations. Before polishing the stone, we will clean it with a powerful cleaner that will deliver an incredible cleanliness to the surface. Then, we will seal it with a deep penetrating sealer, preventing marble from absorbing liquids. Then, we will polish the stone and sealer at the same time with an incredible product, which doesn’t etch marble and brings an astounding sheen. I have a Marble sink and Granite counter tops in my bathroom. I made the mistake of putting vinegar in my sink and it dulled the surface. To restore it I used Eagle One Wet to Dry Spray wax found in ay automotive department. Also comes in many brand names, I'm sure they all work equally as well. I use this each week when I do my bathroom cleaning. Spray on , spread with a cloth and polish with a microfiber cloth. I have been doing this for over a year and my sink and counter tops always come out with a mirror finish shine.
