How can I clean paint from a wood floor?

    Depends on how much paint. If it's just a little spill or droplets from ceiling paint, for instance, and the floor has a polyurethane finish, you should be able to simply scrape with a plastic putty knife or remove the little bumps of paint. If the wood was unfinished, sanding with the grain is the best option.

    Sometime WD40 can ease paint off of a wooden surface if that surface was sealed. But if you have real paint on your floor, like from painting trim before the carpet goes down then you have to work to get it off. Scrape and sand with the grain of the wood. If the floor is worn, maybe have the room refinished, then you don't have to do anything!

    Goof off will work, and citristrip if its a big spot
