Use a Masonry/Concrete grinding cup on an angle grinder and that glue will be history!

It is very easy to use but you will need a mask (like the one for lead, not paper), safety glasses, gloves, and optional knee pads. You can rent the angle grinder if you don't own one and the rental place should carry the concrete cup as well.

When you first start, make sure there are no dangling clothes, jewelry, or hair to get caught in the grinder. Start in an open spot and turn on grinder. Lightly touch it to the concrete to get a feel for it and then its just like cleaning. Go back and forth from one end to the other and in no time it will be done!

Ways that may work:

1. Scrape

2. Try baby oil. It can soften many glues.

3. Use boiling water.

4. Use adhesive glue remover

5. Sand

Talked to a guy that rented houses. On inspection of an empty rental he discovered that the 4 year old painted more of the house than her nails with pink sparkly polish. He found something called Graffiti Remover. Don't know who makes it but he sure was impressed.

The best way I found was pour boiling water on the glue. Let it set about 15 minutes and then scrape. Works really well on old glue. I used a tea pot and poured just a little at a time to avoid putting too much water on the concrete and avoiding splashing. Wear long pants, long sleeves and gloves to protect yourself. I had a friend helping. They poured and I came behind them and scraped.

This will also remove latex paint off of the concrete.
