How do I clean my chandelier which has lots of crystal drops?

My chandelier crustals are detachable. I put them in my dishwisher Inside of a colendar that has a lid. The jet dry makes them spot free. I reattach wearing gloves

My mom took down her crystal drops and put them in a big bowl with vinegar water if they were just dusty, then she cleaned the chandelier before putting the crystals back up.

It takes a little time but I used apple cider vinegar and dawn/water, sprayed until the dirt and dust was dripping off and then used a microfiber towel and it sparkled brightly. If really dirty, may need a second go-round. Don't wait so long next time.

You could spend $5,000 like my good friend did or you could make sure the power is off and use little baggies and rubber bands and put each crystal drop into a baggie of windex .....rubber band it and let them stay (hang) a few hours .....the take a dry cloth to each crystal......very time intensive .....especially if you have lots and lots of crystals.

If you can reach the chandelier it's a piece of cake to make them sparkle! It may take a while to get the work done but so what. At the end of those couple of hours you'll be looking at a shining light fixture with not a speck of dust to be found! The way I get them to shine like that is by using a product called Cinch. It's Windex on steroids but without the streaks. It even has a pleasant smell too. I never spray any product on the crystals, I spray the plump cotton cloth I'm using to clean with. You cannot clean with a crappy cleaning cloth. It has to be high quality thick cotton that absorbs whatever I need to pick up and can be rung out completely. No old leftover shirts for me to clean with, I want quality results. This kind of cloth won't leave any debris behind on the clean crystals either.
