How do I clean soot from walls and ceilings?

Denise Whitaker on Apr 03, 2016I don't kno what kind of walls an ceilings u have That being said....I put newspaper all over floor an furniture ...Then I sprayed Dollar Store bathroom cleaner all over affected area an let it drip...Kept doing that that until all soot drips off....u will kno when to start wiping it down...I have popcorn ceilings an this worked for meHelpful Reply

LindaK on Apr 03, 2016I suggest TSP, wear gloves and eye protection. I like to use a clean sponge mop for ceilings, and micro fiber cloths for wall. Then you should probably paint.Helpful Reply
