How do I get mold & musty smell of old coin collection binder? Plastic

white vinegar is really good for wiping down smelly plastic. Ive just used it to get rid of a perfume soap smell out of a large glass bottle I wanted to use for making kombucha.

Sometimes just sitting something out in the sun for a few hours does wonders. Be sure to turn it over on each side.

I would wipe it down first with vinegar to kill mold and then with a nice smelling soupy water. You might need to repeat a few times and air it out too. Good luck!!
