Others may know differently but when we purchased our home, we could not find a solution. I spoke to three flooring experts and it had to be sanded down to remove the stains and then refinished.
You can try wetting a rag in hydrogen peroxide and laying it on the stain until it dries. Repeat if necessary. You might have to sand and refinish though.

Hi Dina. I'm Cindy. I did a bit of reading to find the best solution for you. I read 5 or 6 articles and they all had one thing in common. They all used hydrogen peroxide to remove the stain. Pour hydrogen peroxide directly on the stain. Then soak a clean cloth in more hydrogen peroxide and place it on top of what you poured on. Cover the entire area with plastic wrap. Let it set overnight. Next day remove the plastic wrap and soak up any hydrogen peroxide left behind. Repeat if necessary.
