You could try a single edge razor. If it takes paint and junk off windows, it may do the trick.
razer blade in a scraper holder...used them to get paint off glass and tape as well

GooGone! I discovered that recently and it's GREAT! Wear gloves though! It removed my nail polish!
I would spray with Pam cooking spray and use a paint scraper or single edge razor blade, and keep a paper towel pad on the sill to wipe off the goo as you go. Then just clean with Windex.
Use a straight razor flat against the window between the window and the tape.
try a razor blade that goes in a box knife. Take it slow once you are under the edge. Run the blade under as you go along.
