How do I remove a metal piece from Candle Jars?

I guess it was for the wick. Its glued in there somehow.

    pour rubbing alcohol in the bottom of the jar and leave for a few days. This will melt the glue.

    Hot water works to loosen the wax. I usually just use a fingernail, however. Often it's slightly at an angle, so you can get under the side that's sticking up.
