White vinegar and dawn. Spray and rinse, let dry. Then prime the drywall and repaint.
Hi Brenda. I make a spray with 50/50 bleach and water. Spray it on and let it sit for a few minutes. Then use a rag to wipe dry. I would also run a dehumidifier in the area if you have one. Wear a mask too. Good luck!
Bleach and water has worked for me in the past. Then I clean it off with a sponge. Just make sure you wear a dust mask so you don’t breathe in airborne mold spores
