How do I remove panel adhesive from ceilings?
We’ve removed acoustic tile from our 1930 cement ceilings. The previous owner used paneling adhesive so as you can see, we’re full of adhesive polka dots.
Any suggestions for removal? We were going to drywall over it until we found out the whole place is cement! Any advice is welcomed! Thanks!

I'm not sure you will ever get it all off, but I would try a tile scraper like you would use to remove tile from the floor. You would probably have to get up on a tall step stool to get the right angle and that might be tricky. If you get most of it off then use adhesive remover and hand scraper to get the rest off.
Scaping off with a wide putty knife. You can also use a blow dryer to soften the adhesive and scrape off.
Oy! To get it off you'll need tons of patience, a putty knife as said, and possibly adult beverages lol! Good luck. 😎

Thanks..just looking at all work ahead I’m pretty sure adult beverages will come in handy 😊
LOL this guy did not spare the glue..... I've read to use a piece of thin wire, make a garrot with 2 piece of wood dowel to secure the wire too, and for you to hold of too, then put on the edge and use a sawing motion to loosen it.
