    Have you tried rubbing alcohol? I don't know if it will work but it does remove permanent marker from skin and many surfaces and it's cheap and easy to try before purchasing specialty products. I hope you find something that works well without damage to your flooring!

    Use undiluted Clorox "soft bleach" (walmart). Soak a rag, place on stain, cover with wax paper or clear wrap. Let set for several days, if necessary. May have to repeat several times, but should remove or at least lighted stain where it is hardly visible.

    Yep, tried that...and dish soap and salt and baking soda and baking powder and even toothpaste and lots of other stuff. I haven't found the right combination yet.
