How do I remove residue from a laminate floor?

My laminate flooring has a very dull almost pasty look. It had a beautiful shine to it when it was new. I have only used recommended cleaning products. The manufacturer advice proved ineffective. Please help!

Try testing a area with a damp cloth with white vinegar and water,see if that removes the residue,then do the entire floor with a microfiber mop being careful not to make the floor to wet

Clean with hot water mixed with amonia to get rid of any build up on it. Once clean apply a floor wax to bring back shine.
