How do I remove rust from metal tools, i.e. pliers, hammers. etc?
I have a number of various tools that have from a few spots of rust to mostly covered with rust and I would like to get them back to looking more like new than ready for the trash can.

Either with a wire brush and/or rust remover. Check out this site with ideas for making your own. If they are too far gone they look great as yard art.

Clean your tools with a brillo pad. When they are clean rub them all over with some oil so they don't rust again.
If the spots are small, extra fine steel wool and oil. Rub on the spots to remove.
