I use a paste of water and Cascade (the powder kind) dish washing detergent. Just mix together and smear it on, leave for a couple hours then use one of those sponge/scrub pads and rinse.
Try using cooking spray. It worked great on my shower doors.
Easy Off No Fume Oven Cleaner in the BLUE can. Spray it on and let it liquefy. May need some scrubbing. Wear rubber gloves. Rinse well.
The best thing I've found is orange degreaser. It cuts right through soap scum. Smells good, too.
