I just use a less expensive shampoo. First, remove the hair, then buy a cheap hairbrush and use that to clean your brush.

Hi Debbie, start next to the base of the brush and use a comb to root out most of the hair that is attached to the bristles. Keep doing this to remove most of the hair, then rinse well with high-pressure water from base to tips of bristles. You may have to "pick" the few last remaining hairs by hand. Sometimes it helps to use one of those velcro rollers too! Then soak it in a mixture of 50/50 vinegar and water or alcohol and water.

I clean the hair out and throw it in with my laundry it comes out nice and clean. I also throw my soap dish in the washer once a week

Clean the hair out and spray with scrubbing bubbles(I use a generic brand) and rinse. Growing up we would throw them right in the shower. Do this every week, after all you wash your hair every week. Don't forget to do our comb also.
