I don't know that you can actually clean out cast iron pipes... and it may not be only your house that is the problem... it could be the city's pipes that are clogged...to know for sure... you will need a plumbing contractor... HomeAdvisor.com or AngiesList.com can help you find a reputable one.

Cast iron is not used for potable water. It's used for drains. Check with your building department or water department to verify the pipes are clogged and that it's not the meter or delivery system. If it's well water than more likely the pipes are clogged. There really is no way to clean the pipes out. They would need to be replaced.
If you don’t have a water softener, get one. The first house we bought had very slow water pressure until I installed a softener. In a short amount of time that water was flowing full stream. The calcium accumulated inside the pipes.
