Use Iron Out. Consider getting a whole house iron filer to prevent this from happening.

Consult experts for filter systems to filter iron from the well. As for your toilet: Barkeeper's Friend. Make a paste, apply, let sit, scrub.

First, acquire an iron filter and/or water softener depending on the AMOUNT of iron in the water. That will prevent the future staining. NOW, almost any acid based cleaner will work just fine.

Thanks everyone. We just moved into this house & we're trying to get county water installed but, in the mean time, we're using a salt softener & an older whole house filter.
