How do you remove tough stains from the bathroom sink?

My countertops and sink are a marbled white formica. The countertops are fine, but the sink is stained around the center drain area. I have tried bleach, vinegar. ammonia, and various bathroom cleaners. I can lighten up the stain but can't get rid of the brownish/rust color around the drain.

I wonder if coke would work? This article was just posted on Hometalk and she used coke to get rust off of metal stool bases, but the same concept might work in sinks and for drains, I just might try coke in my bathroom, I have the same issue:

I'd be real careful using coke. It can eat thru the stain and into the ceramic underneath it.

You can try this but be careful and donā€™t let it set too long. Toilet bowl cleaner called The Works. That stuff has removed spray paint from brick when paint removers wouldnā€™t! Cheap and when done use it to clean your toilet.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did try toothpaste and even used an electric scrubber on it, but it didn't do a good enough job. Thanks anyway.

I appreciate your taking the time to answer me.
