  • The best thing is artificial plants are not affected by seasons. Maintenance is not just about keeping artificial plants clean. At some point they may be accidentally damaged, in that case you need to have them fixed or replaced.
  • ..I use a product made just for cleaning silk plants and artificial flowers, it comes in a trigger spray. I have also used a mixture of white vinegar, a few drops of dawn dish soap, in a spray bottle, either place outdoors or in your bathtub or shower, then spray, and leave for about half hour or more. I have a handheld shower sprayer, which is ideal for rinsing your plants off after letting the cleaner do its work. I have used this method for years , and for flowers that are not real, I soak in lukewarm water in the sink, using either the cleaner for those, or the vinegar mixture and GENTLY rinse and use a SOFT sponge if you need help with getting them dirt -free. There is a product made that repels dirt, for after cleaning your houseplants ,but I just use lemon oil polish liquid. :)

I just fill the tub with some tepid water and a bit of soap, swish them around, rinse, and let dry. Larger ones I take out to the lawn and hose them.

I put the flowers and some sea salt in a bag and shake. It cleans the dust and doesn't damage the color by getting them wet.

I just spray mine periodically with windex. It keeps them looking clean and fresh all the time!! If you have a lot of them, lay them out on an old sheet and spray away!!

I've been putting mine in the shower for years. Shake them off, hang to dry. Done.

I take my artificial plants outside, spray with water then spray with Shower to Shower. It's the shower cleaner that cuts through soap scum. After all the leaves have been sprayed, I rinse them with water. I then leave them outside until dry. I have been doing this for years now and the product does not harm the plants at all...just cleans them do they look like new!

Use a blow dryer on a low setting to blow off the dust.

I clean them with white common soap, it works with plastic and fabric, then rinse with cold water and hang them until they are dry, hope to be helpful
