I have beautiful Harlequin black and white 20 inch vinyl tiles in my kitchen and sunroom. White tiles are looking dingy and need a good scrubbing to brighten and clean. Does anyone know the best way to do this? Thanks!

    Try some comet with magic erasers...it worked on a white porcelain sink that was so black from dirt and yrs of misuse...

    What type of finish do they have on them? If it's wax you may need to remove it and re-wax your floors.

    Check this HomeTalk member's post out. Looks like her floors are identical to yours! Then click the link she provided to go over to her blog to read what she used. http://www.hometalk.com/diy/clean/floors/how-to-easily-clean-grimy-vinyl-floors-912807

    You can use Armstrong products..new beginnings, it won't ruin finish. Follow with their wax for vinyl flooring.

    I sprayed a floor with Windex & used a brush type rug shampooer to scrub it. Then I wet mopped up the dirty liquid. Came out really good.

    We bought our forever home in May and had lots of work to do before moving in. The kitchen floor is an off white and gray linoleum that is supposed to look like a stone tile. It was bad when we bought the house and after 2 months of renovations thought the floor would have to be replaced which is in our to do list but not a priority. The day came to try and clean it and I used the scrubbing bubbles and a scrub brush. I let it sit for about 155 minutes then scrubbed and cleaned it with old t-shirts. It looked brand new. We have decided it can stay for a while longer since it is in such great shape. It does have little grain like indentations that are dirt tapes with our 3 dogs but I clean it at least weekly with my stream mop and it still looks fantastic.

      @Jo F This is exactly what I was going to suggest, I remember reading her post about scrubbing bubbles, so now I use it on my vinyl bathroom floor too!

    Sorry that should say 15 minutes, not 155.

      @Vicki Menton haha I was wondering why 155 not 150 or 160, or 120..ha!

    Ha @Bernice H, that is what happens when you don't proofread before you hit that enter key lol. I do tend to exaggerate sometimes when joking around, but even that would be stretching it more than my patience would ever allow!

    I have a black and white floor and I purchased a steam cleaner. It steams the dirt right off with very little effort. All it uses is water. No harsh chemicals and dries in a flash. I love it. Available at most box stores.
