How to clean bathroom taps?

They're made of stainless steel. The stains are due to salty water. How can I remove the water spots?

Use a paste made of vinegar and baking soda with an old toothbrush.

Using white vinegar and baking soda. Then each weekly cleaning the vinegar should keep it maintained.

Vinegar is wonderful for this situation. I soak a paper towel (or cloth/rag) in vinegar and wrap that around the taps. Leave that on for 20 minutes to half an hour. Use an old toothbrush ( like the above poster said) to scrub. You may have to do this a few times, depending on the build up. Good luck!

Plain white vinegar to the rescue. If that does not do the trick try CLR (calcium, lime, rust) available at many diy stores and of course Walmart.
