Murphys oil soap is a good cleaner to use around the kitchen. It cuts down grease.

For grease, sudsy ammonia is the best (but not for polished wood) . Very inexpensive.

a bit of Dawn Blue in warm water, a soft cloth and elbow grease -- rub in small circles, changing the side of the cloth to 'clean' every few inches; wipe with clean warm water; dry with paper towels; safe for all surfaces -

Is it your microwave that is greasy with oil? Wipe as much out as you can and then wash the inside with a cloth dampened with dawn dish soap and water. May have to wash the inside two or three times, drying with a paper towel between washing. Just don't get too much water in the microwave, cloth should just be damp.

Murphy´s Oil Soap mixed with water works really well too. Spray and wipe clean in small sections. Do a 1:10 ratio of soap to water.
