There are some cleaning tips in this article I wrote. http://www.networx.com/article/exotic-wood-floor-finishes-you-havent-s what I do at home is use some warm water and a old small towel, it gets wrung out to be damp...hands and knees work...which goes pretty quick...this way it drys super fast and there is no cleaning residues to attract dirt. 95% of the "dirt" is just dirt and not an oily or greasy residue...for that cleaning we use a citrus based procduct and "spot" clean. A wood floors biggest enemy is too much water and grit...water will get between the boards and can cause swelling , buckling etc...grit wears the woods protective layer and can cause the wood to soil or swell to infiltration once the protection is lost.

Great tip Doloros. Many people do not know the proper way to clean a wood floor. Some of the worst things to use are "oil soap" and "citrus cleanser". I did my floors 8 years ago and only use warm water and windex, and they still look great!

You can go to any manufactors sight type in guidelines or cleaning guidelines. You can use Bona, or you can use a micro fiber mop. A squirt of dish soap. Squeeze most of the water out of the mop. Mop and dry. You can also use a squirt bottle of water for light cleaning and again dry your floor. You are cleaning the finish. The finish protects your floor. Do not use steam, vinegar (acid), wood soap. For some reason I couldn't like some of the comments.
