As an Army wife, we've lived in many apartments and in the past I've used Borax (20 Mule Team) mixed with water, about 1/4 cup to gal. water and scrub with stiff brush rinse. If that didn't get it all, mix Borax into a paste and apply, leave for an hour scrub and rinse well. The other way is scrub well with a thick mixture of Baking Soda and water, leave on for about an hour, the with a spray bottle filled with plain White Vinegar, spritz well, let it bubble for about 15 - 20 minutes scrub and rinse. If this doesn't work, I removed all seam grout in between tiles and applied a new water proof grout that you can get at any home improvement or Walmart in plumbing.

Good Luck as it's cheaper than new and much healthier to breathe! :~)

I have always used a vinegar water mixture weekly or when ever I bath , spray on walls and glass doors, rinse. Have never had scum or mold build up and shinny clean shower. Vinegar 1/2 c - water 12 oz. spray bottle. Leave for few minutes then rinse and wipe. If build up is bad increase vinegar and repeat.

I used bleach in a spray bottle but make sure you have really good ventilation. It can burn your lungs.
