How to get wine glasses really clean and stain free

Use some CLR or other lime and calcium remover, even soak in vinegar. Then wash them in detergent well, and probably keep out of dishwasher.

Try Mr Clean Magic Eraser. This stuff is my go-to product. Use the regular (not heavy duty) and rub only hard enough to get it off.

Dawn and a Mr. Clean white sponge....GENTLY with the sponge. Works like a charm.

Dishwasher detergent will cause a permanent etching on glass or crystal making them look like they have a cloudy coating on them. So it would probably be a good idea to always hand wash these items. Sometimes soaking them in hot water with a couple of TBSPs of white vinegar and a squirt of something like Dawn will work
