Have you tried running your bathroom fan during shower time and for at least 20 minutes after done showering? Also, leave shower curtain in closed position (fully stretched out) until dry.

Make sure your shower curtain is stretched across after each shower, not bundled up. Also, if mold/mildew start to attach, take down shower curtain and put into washer on low water with about 1/3 cp. Clorox. Start washer to mix well then turn off and let soak about 15 mins. more of less. Start washer again to mix all and stop machine and let soak again. This should clear all mildew. Let wash. Hang on shower rod to air dry. This works for me. Even mildew proof curtains will in time mildew.

We had the problem with mildew and I fixed a spray bottle of 15 percent bleach to spray. We also kept curtain spread out to dry in between showers. We also had a cushion mat in the tub with suction cups on it so I would flip it over and spayed it weekly then rinse well

Every time you wash towels toss the liner in the washer and rehang in the shower. May not prevent the mold but it will be fresher and less apt to grow mold.
