How to protect a paper wallpaper for a DIY project?
I'm using a paper wallpaper to cover a cabinet door. Any recommendations to seal the paper.. don't want a mod podge. Polyacrylic, polyurethane? Afraid any liquid could cause rippling or bubbling, or change the color of the paper.

Tedious but you could use newspaper with painters tape
If you are wanting to seal it after application, you would need an oil based topcoat and that would definitely yellow over time
Water based polyurethane does not yellow. Rustoleum or Krylom clear coat spray.
Some may soak in since there is moisture but most would stay on top.
