Joyce, what kind of glue?
Joyce, what kind of glue? Several months ago my handy son-in-love was trying to fix a part of my food processor which had a crack & spilled some quick-drying super-type glue on my granite cabinet-top & tried to wipe it up spreading it to a much larger space - 3" X 5" or maybe larger - (no protection under project). I'd tried several things to no avail at different times. I bought Weiman's Granite & Stone Daily Cleaner & Polish & tried it. Several uses later the glue mess is gone & the granite is clean & shiny & no sign of the former damage.
If solvents don't work, I would try using a VERY sharp X-acto knife and use tiny little scrapes until it is loose. Be very careful.
Couldn't you try ice then the knife, if its cold wouldn't it be easier to remove? ..just saying.
