Whenever I need to remove sticky residue from glass, I place the pieces in a sink full of hot, soapy water. Let them soak for a few minutes, and the residue should either completely dissolve or be super easy to remove with your fingers. Lemon juice and white vinegar can help, too!

use the safest way first water, not work ? use soap,not work? them move to alcohol, not work?then move to lighter fluid,not work? plastic lens are the worst
Olive oil works!
I find that lightly scrubbing the glass with warm soapy water works.
