I use a damp SOS pad on mine. Take some time a scrub lightly in small circles, then wash and repeat and it will look good as new.

Hi Cielolandy, heat water in pan, and ring to the boil. Turn water down to simmer. Place 1-2 heaped teaspoons of Bi Card of soda in pan, let simer for 5-10 mins. Come back, lossen gunck, with wooden spoon, till all is loose. Tip water out, and wash as usual. Depending on how long the gunck has been there, you may need to repeat the proces. Works every time! If you mean the actual bottom of the pan, put the pan into a plastic garbage bag. add a small cup with about 1/4 cup of ammonia, close the bag tight and let it sit for 24 hours. The fumes will work to loosed the baked on stuff. Bring the bag outside to open as the fumes are very strong and toxic to breathe in. Wash with a light scrubby and some soap, to remove caked on gook. If your pan is really bad this may need to be done twice. Also works on your oven racks and grill racks!
Pit baking soda and half the pan of water and boil that will soften the burn and it can be easily scrubbed off.
