Try a denture-cleaning tablet With warm water. Put it in the sink in case of spill-over. If that doesnt work, try a little toothpaste on your finger.
Salt is corrosive even on glass, which is more porous than you might think (think of old glass vases). Good luck.
Baking soda and sea salt. Mix with water and shake it up inside the container.
If it is foggy due to minerals in the water, maybe adding Lemishine to the dishwasher will help. Our clear dishes were all getting foggy and we got Lemishine at Walmart in the dishwasher soap department. It is great! First we ran a load without any dishes with Lemishine, then we started adding it to every load. We have water that is very very dense with calcium and other deposits. Our dishes are fog free now! Hope this helps.

Did you use White Vinegar (5%) and a bottle brush? Let sit overnight. Or try letting it soak with peroxide .
