The BEST Homemade Bathroom Cleaner (Tested, Proven, Only a Few Items)
This is a fantastic cleaner for just about anything - bathroom, kitchen, tile floors. In a spray bottle mix:
2 oz blue Dawn dish soap
4 oz bottles lemon juice
8 oz white vinegar
10 oz water
This removes soap scum, hairspray residue, mold; it doesn't have to be rinsed and does it ever make your bathroom shine!
I always use simple green mixed with water. This has been the best grout cleaner for me. I know its not DIY but it really worked for me. Otherwise I would make a paste with baking soda and vinegar and scrub it on.
We have tried them all, and we found the easiest way to clean is with a Turbo cleaner as seen on tv. We ordered ours online, but they can be purchased in Walmart and probably other department stores now. I love our Turbo Scrubber! It takes all the hard out of hard cleaning. We used the cleaner we have on hand in the house and it was sufficient with this mighty cleaning machine. It comes with several brushes, a charger, and a bag to keep the brushes together. They cost $40 but they can be used for many ways such as showers, hard to reach areas like around a commode, and even tires on a car. I wish we had one years ago!
Thank you , shall try it out!!
