I want to put teak on my shower floor. How do I prevent it from mold?

You may just want a teak insert. You can't prevent it from scaring, molding or discoloring and it stains easily. It will also have to be oiled periodically.

  I would probably check out the wood look ceramic tile. A teak insert would let you remove it to clean any mold. Keep in mind teak will turn grey over time and when oiling it must be done when it is completely dry.
