the tub had sat in storage with plastic wrap on it for awhile. When we took the plastic wrap off it had sealed itself to the tub. Any ideas what will get this off? I have tried every product i could think of including scraping it. Nothing seems to work. Please help!

HAIR DRYER HEAT, TRY THE LOWER SETTING AND USE A FLAT PLASTIC SCRAPER, YOU MAY HAVE TO CREATE ONE THAT WILL WORK. GOOD LUCK.

Get starter fluid at your auto parts store. It is non-medical ether. It should break the bond between the plastic wrap and the acrylic tub. Keep changing your wipe rags so the plastic doesn't just move from one section to another. Use in a well ventilated area. Ether will not affect the acrylic finish other than possibly dulling it, which can be fixed with acrylic polish.

I would try a hairdryer or heat gun on a low setting being care not to over heat it and a plastic scraper. Ether may work but is is a toxic flammable fluid and you do need to be WELL ventilated! We have always used a heat gun to remove any adhesives or melted plastic wraps.

Hair dryer is slow going. Heat gun would be too hot. Fill it with very hot water. Film should come off. You can use nail polish remover. Pour it straight on or saturate cloth place over vertical surfaces. Won't affect the fiberglass. WD40 or Goo Gone may also work.
