Use #1: You know those stubborn stickers on glass? Most people recommend using Goo Gone or a homemade solution but when I had nothing on hand and no patience to make my own - I though I’d give nail polish remover a try. I couldn’t believe how well this worked!! I applied a little to loosen the sticker, peeled it off and the was able to remove the residue in an instant.

Use #2: The one and only: permanent marker! Very helpful if you have children who like to display their master art skills…on your table top. icon It comes off so easily it’s like a dream come true!

My mom had pen marks on the outside of her purse (not leather, but prolly pleather) and I used some to take the pen marks off. Outside of that I hardly ever use it or think about it so I will be interested in seeing what others use it for. Good tips Leah, thank you

I was glad to see the white board idea. I use it to remove labels from old jars that I am re-purposing. Works like a charm! But who could forget patent leather shoes scuff marks? When I was little we would get a new pair of Easter shoes and nail polish melted scuffs off.

Pen ink on skin. Works great every time. Purell or products like that work for ink as well.

Pure acetone ( not no acetone polish remover) removes Sharpie ( permanent marker) from clothing. My husband put an uncapped Sharpie in his pants pocket, realized it when he noticed the large black spot on his tan pants. Accepting they were already ruined, I scrunched up paper towels and put them on the underside of the pants and poured the acetone on the stain..... continued to blot and after some perseverance, spot gone!

I used it to clean paint off of my garage floor. It was only a few spots and this seemed like a quick fix, and it was. Unfortunately, my acrylic nails didn't fair so well.
