You can use a big pitcher or bowl. It is best if it is a container that is easy to mix in and easy to pour from.

P.S. For this batch I used a 12.6 fl oz bottle of conditioner and it yielded about 1.5 cups of conditioner, so I reduced the other ingredients accordingly.
