I sell a lot of silver on Ebay. Jewelry, silverware, serving sets. Silver polish tends to remove some of the metal. The foil method doesn't work that great and still leaves a grey film that still needs to be removed. I use white toothpaste (not gel)and a damp toothbrush. For large items I use a damp cloth. Also works on copper, brass, gold, porcelain, sneakers, etc. For my sales I needed one product for cleaning everything.

I use and love "Twinkle". It comes in a little pot like jar with an applicator sponge. You run the article under hot water, wet the sponge, dip it in Twinkle and rub over the article. No grunt work at all - super easy and does a wonderful job. They also have it for brass/copper. Love this stuff, but it is difficult to find

I use a wet paste of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda and rub with a cloth. I like to use old T shirts. Works beautifully. Doesn't take much either. Not to mention that it is way cheaper than anything else on the market and works great.
