I used to fill my tub with hot water and about a cup of bleach. tossed all toys except stuffed animals in it and let them soak - swish them around , then rinse and let air dry. Stuffed animals went into the washing machine.

Hard plastic toys, spray with lysol and let sit for about 10 minutes then they can go into the dishwasher. Stuffed animals go into the clothes washer.
Put the plastic ones in the dishwasher and the cloth ones in the washing machine on hot with non chlorine bleach.
Run through dishwasher? Don't be overly concerned about "germs" because babies develop immunity from exposure. Good old soap and water works.
