I use ammonia diluted with some hot water to clean my walls and they come out beautiful and clean!

I’ve never tried it on furniture before but I do clean my hardwood floors with it with a capful if Murphy’s Oil Soap. I hear that charcoal helps inside furniture get rid of smells from cigarette smoke etc.
