Have you tried Mr. Clean Magic eraser? Of course, the paint should be a washable kind.
Magic eraser is the name of th product. You can find it at Walmart, Kroger.
I have had good results with Goo Gone or a similar product, but it probably depends on whether you want to use something like that or if it would be compatible with your wall covering. Magic erasers work great too. We have moved out of several military housing units where we have had to clean the walls. They are great for stubborn spots.
Powdered Comet or magic eraser .
KRUKUTTER from amazon will cut he gease in the crayon. Spry on, let it set. Wipe off. It cut all the polish off my wood cabnets. Then repolished . Look new. Magic eraser is faster.
Try a magic eraser.
Thank you all for your responses. I have tried Magic Eraser, but it didn't work really well. Maybe because its the white "builder's paint" that they use with new construction. I'm still trying to decide what color(s) I want to paint, but my toddler decided to "help".
Use the Magic Eraser by Mr. Clean. They are fantastic - will clean anything off without damaging the surface.

Don't know if you're still struggling with this or not, but someone told me to heat it up with a blow dryer and wipe it off. It makes sense if you think about it because crayons are mostly wax.
