We clean our home a little bit each day by using this simple cleaning schedule. By spending about 15 minutes a day, you can keep your home looking good all week long!
Monday we do laundry. The entire family pitches in and brings their own wash to the laundry room where it is sorted and washed. Then, we fold our own clothes while watching TV that night. Each person has their own basket to take their laundry back to their room and put it away. Laundry is done! More tips on washing individual items on the blog.
Tuesday we clean the bathrooms. I use a spray bottle with a homemade recipe for All Purpose Cleaning for sinks, tile, faucets and fixtures. Recipes are on the blog.
Wednesday we clean the drains. I use my homemade drain cleaning recipe for cleaning the drains throughout the house. Start upstairs and work your way downstairs. Don't forget the kitchen sink drain too.

Thursday is vacuum day. Every one helps to do the shared living areas and we all vacuum our own bedrooms.
Friday is kitchen day. Start by removing all old food from the refrigerator and cleaning it out. Wipe up any spills or drips. Sweep and wash floors if needed.

Saturday we dust. I love using microfiber cloths for this purpose, dust shelves, table tops and woodwork as needed. Occasionally, I pull out a ladder and dust the light fixtures or ceiling fans with a long handled feather duster.

Sunday is the end of the week, you deserve a break! You can find a free printable Weekly Cleaning Schedule on the blog!
