Cleaning your copper farmhouse sink is surprisingly easy and simple. For basic, every day, cleaning simply use a mild soap and water, that’s it! Nothing fancy no bleach or ajax here. For a deep clean you will need to use a copper cleaning kit. I use the same brand cleaning kit as my sink, which is Sinkology. The process is quick and easy!
Clean Out Sink

Start with an empty sink and you can either dry it or leave it wet for this. Fact: the items that make the copper change colors the most are acidic foods and items left on too long. Like condiments that sit in their too long.
Get Your Cleaning Kit

Here is the kit I used and you want to take out the spray and the provided towel.
The Spray

The kit is less than $20 and has lasted me over a year now. It comes with two of these bottles in the box.
Spray

Spray the entire sink. Even the top, sides, and front. You don't need to use too much of the solution.
Wipe Down

Wipe Down all of the surfaces with the towel. Rubbing in the solution as you go.
Let Dry

This is what it will look after you are done. Yes it is still discolored a bit but it wont be in a day or two. You want the color to go back to the dark that is on the sides. The bright shiny copper is missing it's top layer. You want to clean it and it will go back to being the same shade as the front and sides.
Copper Sinks

Copper sinks are very pretty and will show signs of discoloration but its because it's suppose to! Don't fret it will change right back.
