How to Clean a Kitchen Sink Naturally

The kitchen is one of the hardest places in the house for me to keep clean. Since I have allergies and it is where I prepare food, I do not want to use harsh chemicals, but still want clean surfaces. I have found that Baking Soda and Vinegar is a miracle cleaner, that is natural, and can be used all around the house!
Supplies Needed:
Measuring Cup (1/4 c.)
Baking Soda
Vinegar
Scrubbing sponge
Clean rag
Sprinkle 1/4 cup of baking soda into the sink and add 1/4 cup of vinegar. Let the bubbles do their thing for about 10 mins.
If you do not like the smell of vinegar, you can always add an essential oil, such as lemon to give it a fresh scent.
Scrub the surface of your porcelain sink with a scrubbing sponge, paying particular attention to stained areas.
Rinse well and wipe thoroughly with a clean rag or the baking soda will leave a white film behind.
See the amazing results! The scratches and dinginess are gone and the sink is shiny and clean!

I often combine this kind of deep cleaning with dealing the coffee maker. I use plain white vinegar, and while the vinegar is "brewing," I put a half cup or so in all the drains of my house. Then I pour the hot vinegar into the drains to clear them out. Whatever is left helps me clean out the kitchen sink.
