do you have your owners manuel?I would contact the manufacturer
if desperate, a fine tipped Sharpie
Hi Jo Ann,
The first thing to do is to call the manufacturer. While most black stainless steel is made the same, different manufacturer's have different methods for repairing scratches. Some have products available to help, but some don't. Ask for information about buffing out scratches from your particular model. If the manufacturer has no information that helps, you can try Jcraw's idea of a fine time Sharpie or even a black wax crayon that could be buffed so that the line isn't as noticeable.
