Have you checked to make sure the smell isn't coming from the rubber gasket that keeps the food disposal from throwing food everywhere when it runs? Mine gets pretty gross and seems to need a periodic scrubbing and even a trip thru the dishwasher.

Create a mix of pure vinegar and lemon juice then add it to the sink for ean entire night and let very warm water do the rest the next morning

Even I know this one: cut up lemons and orange peels when thru with them. Put about 5 pieces down drain while running hot water. Voila! The oil in the eels will give your drain a wonderful smell. And NEVER put grease down ANY drain.

Baking soda and vinegar. You can buy 'breath mints' for drains. Always be sure to run lots of water through it. You didn't say if it's a regular drain or garbage disposal.
