Dampen a clean, dry cloth with undiluted white vinegar, and wipe down greasy cabinets. Rinse your cloth with warm water, wring out most of the moisture, and use it to rinse the cabinetry. Dry the damp surfaces with a paper towel, but note any still-sticky spots that need a do-over.

Krud Kutter de glosser works great ! I recently tried this product as the first step in prepping my cabinets for painting . It is in a spray bottle ,

About 6 or 7 dollars at home depot . Just spray it on & wipe off. I couldn't believe how much gunk it took off , I didn't think they were that dirty !!!

I love Krud Kutter! If you cannot find that product, get Purple Power from Walmart or a cleaner degreaser for the automotive store.

I use a 50/50 solution of TSP. Use a microfiber cloth to apply. Old kitchen towel to dry. Stronger solution for more difficult spots.

Any de-greaser, heavy duty kitchen cleaner, TSP (trisodium phosphate) solution. If you use any of these cleaners, please, please, please, remember to use protective gloves as these liquids can literally dissolve skin (your skin is made up of fat and oil too!).
