They make degreasing products for that. Just follow the directions.
The degreasing products won't harm your finish but will remove the grime!
My wife just uses water with plenty Dawn dish soap in it.

In a spray bottle, combine a 50/50 vinegar and warm water solution. Use a gentle cloth to wipe down cabinets after a minute or two of misting them. To thoroughly clean particularly dirty cabinets, mix a small amount of liquid dishwashing soap with the vinegar and water solution.
To address more stubborn grease accumulation, make a paste by combining baking soda and water, then apply it to the impacted regions. Before using a cloth or soft-bristle brush to scrub, let the paste remain for a few minutes.
